Diagrid : Protruding Out The Linearity

The studio focuses extensively on designing three design elements: a door, a staircase, and a display element in terms of its detailing, functionality, method of construction, and with a sense of some conceptualization. The study of an element starts with documenting, analyzing, and studying the technicalities, details, and design concepts of built works done by a maestro. This becomes a base for our proposed designs of the door, staircase, and display element and is worked out by producing technical drawings including all the details and is further executed by making 1 is to 1 prototype models of the door and staircase and the display element with the purpose of using it for the exhibition itself. The concept behind the proposed designs of all the elements is to follow the grid and proportion while maintaining the design language of existing elements of CEPT University to create similarity and flow.
