Ramlila as Mela_Dispersal of Event

Ramlila as an event is interpreted here as ‘ Mela’ where people gather to see the epic play with multiple choices offered - as stationary viewing or free movement. The sense of freedom in the regional Mela is imbibed in the design spirit where the audience can either sit and watch the play from different locations for different days or observe from a distance from the boats in the water or move through the crowds freely like a wanderer. The Ramnagar ki Ramlila is based on the concept where the play happens at different locations of the city and the audience as devotees move along with the actors or gods as per the act.
