Ahmedabad was historically a fortified city. Remnants of its historic wall remain in a few places. Traditionally, a wall protected or divided. The wall could suggest that it was guarding something precious inside. It could also make one think about what lies behind. To see through, one needs to either bridge or breach this wall. Today's wall, metaphorically, is not a barrier between the inside and outside, but rather, separates the known from the unknown
