During the development plan studio, we acquired knowledge on creating development plans for Ahmedabad. It taught us the iterative planning process, starting with a base map and analyzing the current situation. We consulted stakeholders and examined past initiatives for consensus on the vision and strategy. The studio emphasized deliberate decisions, considering development approaches and zoning regulations. It connected viewpoints with reality and understood Forward and Backward Linkages. The final iteration integrated concepts, planning laws, implementation phases, costs, and funding sources. In addition, the studio enhanced our ability to convey information succinctly and persuasively to Ahmedabad's development authority and planners.
