This portfolio conveys the potential of Urban design as a catalyst to transform city’s spaces into places. It unfolds the process of developing a critical lens to identify, recognize and implement in an urban space. This has been achieved with 3 modules, Identifying and representing a city's debate, Urban block study and Design implementation on ward level for Ahmedabad's Vasna.

Mapping and proposed strategies for the lake redevelopment.
Redevelopement of the lake has been done with rethinking of existing embankment, repurposing the edges in form of gathering spaces and vending zones to activate the park edges.
Vendor Park edge to activate the existing lakefront edge.
Rethinking Lake embankments as eco-sensitive and interactive in nature rather than an isolated element.
The lake front park has been designed with multiple water collection points through soak pits so as to allow greater infiltration of water into the soil . This provides better opportunity for ground water recharge which is low in the neighborhood.
