The studio involved the preparation of a statutory development plan. This involved analyzing the existing situation, relevant acts and policies for planning to develop proposals sectorally. Through a rigourous iterative process involving tutors, peer review and stakeholder consultations, the idea of Bhopal as a "Vibrant City" was born. Using a robust, liberal, nuisance based, sustainable and implementable approach, issues in Bhopal were resolved.
