Temporary interventions are intended to be impermanent solutions for permanent features of urban life. A temporary monumental landmark is introduced to serve and celebrate the vacancy. The intention is to actively engage the neighboring communities with the space, though a substantial number of ad hoc networks of individuals and groups of stakeholders are now using a significant portion of the space. Nonetheless, the space isn't utilized to its greatest potential and isn't really given much attention. Aside from that, I'm on the lookout for empty lots in Ambawadi (my larger site extent) where I can see the implementation of a similar design and celebration of the urban void with significant landmarks and modest interventions.

City in time exercise helped me to understand the evolution of the vacant lands in the city and how there are different reasons in their appearance and disappearance
Case study exercise helped me in understanding the angles in which Urban public spaces are developed whether it be to gather community or bring changes to them
The maps helped me in understanding the overall morphology of the site w.r.t the city and how an old policy has affected the certain lands in the parts of city differently owing to a future scenario which also failed due to present situation

Manifesto and Speculative design
Strategy: post the failure of green belt policy, the land was allowed for development and for selling on a condition that 40% of it will be shared with AMC for the development of roads and infrastructure. So, my current site which falls under the same act, I have 40% of land including the future development of 2 roads going adjacent to the plot to be development and pitch my intervention on the leftover land for AMC.
