Redevelopment of Seven Wells Precinct is an area based individual proposal for George Town, Chennai. Initially as a group of four students the site study was conducted as a component of the Urban Transformation studio, with the aim of gaining a thorough understanding of the area and the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority’s vision for George Town.As a group a Strategic Framework Plan was proposed and further individually area based projects are carried out. George Town being a historic CBD area of Chennai, to deal with the complexity it requires such precinct level proposals to work.
