Panjra Pol: Architectural Biography of a Neighbourhood

This is a detailed documentation of an old neighborhood in Old Ahmedabad called Panjra Pol. We researched about the history of the pol and its architectural and societal significances from existing data available online. Other than that we had archival materials from CEPT University along with data from students who had worked with Panjra Pol earlier. Throughout the semester we did extensive study regarding every aspect of the pol. We prepared detailed drawings of the existing built forms and maps as well. We created a timeline for the pol and established the patterns of transformation it had gone through.
