The semester started with two foundation week exercises, Objectory and Factory. Then as part of our individual studio, we did 2d and 3d explorations. The two design assignments were;
1. Simple Building Product, for which we worked on a construction, maintenance or gardening related product, and;
2. Fenestration Product, for which we designed a simple fenestration product to be used in residential spaces.
Models and mockups were made for each of these exercises to develop a further understanding of them.
