CITY INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING STUDIO - WWM IN SURAT

Surat city was selected for the CIP studio owing to the many different and unique challenges it possesses. The two-fold objective of the studio was mainly macro analysis which was carried out in Surat city and the other objective is a detailed micro-analysis which was carried out in a cluster area selected in Palsana taluka. The infrastructure indicators of Surat were studied and based on these demand and generation patterns projections were made for the same. The proposal for FSTP is covered. The analysis of indicators, literature review, data collection and site visits helped immensely in the preparation of a responding CIP.
