Underground Metro Rail Project

The Semester II was based on understanding the project in execution phase of the underground metro project. It involved elaborate study of construction techniques used for underground station & tunnelling, monitoring processes & various controls adopted on site. It involved study & analysis of project management concentrating on project planning & scheduling on primavera along with detailed study on Project Layout & Planning along with BIM model creation, Material Management, Quality Management, Contracts Administration, Insurance Management, Safety Management, Management Information System, Risk analysis, Pour Planning. Also we were able to study the lean construction and apply techniques like Value Stream Mapping along with Foreman Delay Survey to analyse & increase efficiency on site.
