House of Million Threads

Marcus Aurelius quoted "Dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars, and see yourself running with them" which indeed is true when we talk about the oneiric feeling we all associate to. The project was about making of an oneiric dwelling in the frozen winter land by taking inspiration from 'Animal architecture'. The dwelling is located in the valley of meadows- Gulmarg. The project tries to highlight the material and texture of the dwelling which is bulgy, bouncy, flowy, intangible and illusive. The house of threads has various pods wrapped between trees and is inspired from a spider's web.
