Oodles of Shells

This is a portfolio of studio Decoding Poetics of Space, which was based on the book “Poetics of Space” by Gaston Bachelard. It has the idea of daydreaming relating to our personal experience and our childhood memories. The idea was to make a home in and around the sea. Firstly we started understanding the atmosphere of the place then we moved to animal architecture to learn how animals make their home then we came to some basic ideas, metaphors of how we want our house to be. Further focusing on the technical part and the textures and finally on the structure.
