EM-SCAPE

I was supposed to design a structure which is innovative and helpful for the mankind. Mine was the emergency escape staircase, to which i have named ‘Em-Scape’. The purpose of the staircase is to rescue people in case of any fire in the building. Instead of rushing towards the staircase in the building people can simply move to their respective balconies, press the hydraulic button and as soon as the whole staircase gets deployed from the balcony, they can leave. I had to deploy the balcony into staircase by keeping the orientation of each step upright at the same time.
