Fishing villages are the most affected during the cyclones in India. The design intent is to build a resilient building that helps in improving the quality of life of the villagers.
The community center becomes a place where people of the fishing community can congregate, celebrate, and perform any leisure activities. The structure can house the community during the cyclone and follows a sustainable approach for it to be culturally present. The materials and their detailing have been resolved such that these techniques can be adopted by the villagers for building their homes.
