A Pavilion Near The Banyan Tree - Display Gallery

The pavilion is situated at Kamati Baug, Baroda. The site is an interesting encounter of the landscape with the river edge. The structure rests at an angle aligning with the site axis. The Pavilion designed with the display gallery in terms of the programme.  The Light construction is composed of a skeletal grid and creates different open spaces with varied wall heights which gives transparency to the volume. The pavilion contains two kinds of space which are display spaces and shelter to free loiters within.The pavilion can become a permeable space in all its limits, but highly recognizable and monumental capable of containing and limiting.
