The site is located next to the planetarium near the edge of river vishwamitri at Kamatibaug in Baroda. The main users are the dancers. Secondary users are visitors or spectators who at times will come to see the performances. There are some open performance spaces which are very welcoming in nature along with some semi-open and covered spaces which are gradually sensed with the movement till we reach the last covered space. Spaces have an idea of center as every indian dance form have in one or the other form, which has been used as a gathering space. There is a sensorial touch of nature and the environment. It has the light coming and blending into the spaces through cutouts and openings. The overwhelming context and the hierarchical volumes guide the people to move and experience the whole space. The structure is gradually coming out from the ground. Seeing that journey of going into the ground through movement and circulation around spaces, where the axis is taken from the planetarium's one of the corner edges. Through all these, the connection to the outside and the sky is formed by introverted & extroverted spaces in terms of light.
