Akash Kavach: Protection from Weather Challenges

The project focuses on improving the living conditions of residents of Keshavnagar such that they can combat weather challenges that occur seasonally. The metal roofing becomes the prime reason for discomfort inside their homes and they don't have many sheltered places in the neighbourhood to carry out their daily chores. Thus the project brief is to provide them better roofing in an affordable way by renting the space above the new roof for community use. This provides them better living inside their homes and also serves to community’s improvement making a win-win situation.
