Anyone how much built something on the ground, the amount of open spaces will remain the same. In such a community, the relationship of dweller’s activities and the built environment is very important to study and open spaces are one of them, where dwellers spend most of the day in open spaces and get socialized with other neighbors. But, people who live on narrow streets don’t have chawk or ground in front of their house to extend their activities in open space. Therefore, the nearest unutilized open space, rooftop space will be turned into well-utilized space by providing collective storage space that solves the storage issues, and other functional spaces provide enough space to do their activities. ‘Angan’ solves their issues regarding storage and it provides THEIR CHAWK on THEIR ROOF.
