Expeditions in Metal

The studio made me understand the importance of metals in our everyday life and their wide array of uses. The projects done in this studio required us to focus on the wide range of materials, specification of building products and manufacturing processes. All this was done with the help of in depth research of materials and existing products in a space, ideation sketches, PDS, set of engineering drawings and models which were then helpful in the fabrication of the product. Overall, it covered the whole process from design thinking to finalizing the product for the space.
