Expeditions in Metals was an amazing journey of learning, research, and prototyping. The whole design process from concept to the final manufacturing processes was practically performed and acquired during the course. Learning about the existing and new emerging materials and technologies was really helpful and served as an insight into the future. In the difficult times of the Covid-19 pandemic, we managed to make the prototypes with the support of our faculty and TA, which resulted in a better understanding of how the industry works and what changes affect the final outcome.
