The semester started with getting to know oneself's life in detail and imagine it in a visual manner next we narrated the story of a peer in postcards. As the exercises went ahead they expanded the cone of vision through more exercise leading to the final project where I chose two anime or animated movies in which I chose Howl’s Moving Castle and Castle in the Sky: Laputa both directed by Hayao Miyazaki. On the basis of one of these movies, I had to contextualize a space for a Bollywood villain. The villain is Kamlak Jaadugar from Hatim Tai.

Torture room of Jadugar. The space has low to no light and is filled with the smell of decaying bodies and rancid blood. There are torture devices placed everywhere from brazen bull to guillotine. One can see old blood stains on the floor and walls. Looking at the machines the blades have blood stains which have turned black as they are not cleaned regularly.
The black magic room is double heighted and the walls had strange symbols written all over it and the room was filled with smoke from the burning wood and ashes of people. The skylight focuses on the cauldron placed in the center of the room surrounded by green flames.
The throne space is monolith with engraving on stones. The path to the stairs leading to the throne is on a pond filled with human blood. On the edge of the pond there are skulls placed at a certain distance. A metal eagle is placed above the throne overlooking the hall.
The core room is really filthy humans rarely enter that space. Spider webs everywhere full of dust. I could even smell the stagnant air of that room as Kamlak went down the curved stairs one could see the full dome protected by skulls and a red light emitting core in the center.
The cinematic spaces of two movies Howl’s moving castle and Castle in the sky: Laputa both directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Cinematic space of Howl’s moving castle shows the drawing room, bath room and bed room of Howl. The cinematic space of Castle in the sky Laputa shows the core which is surrounded by a dome made from roots of the main tree and below that is the technological room on the basis of which Laputa is able to fly in the sky.
