My journey into the fictional world started in the online mode. On a larger level, it was a journey of understanding various personas. Starting with me first understanding myself, and portraying a persona for the other to see and from there, moved on to understand that of a friend, a graphic designer and an artist. The journey then continued to reading a short story (Post reality framework) and interpreting a space, which was when imagination and visualisation also came into the picture, leading into the realm of films. Delving into Andaz Apna Apna and picking the persona of Shakti Kapoor as Crime Master Gogo, a fictional world was created, re-contextualising him into an animated movie inspired from the style of The Nightmare Before Christmas (Henry Selick movie).

Khandani chor hoon mein, Mogambo ka bhateeja: Gogo keeps mentioning with quite a lot of pride how he comes from a family of thieves and is also related to Mogambo. So maybe he would have a shrine kind of a space with all of his ancestors pictures put up, Mogambo’s being the biggest
Lets go Gogo: The space right outside Gogo’s house, a place where he often works out.
Evening scenes: Gogo has really long hair, nicely oiled, neatly combed back and tied up with his iconic red ribbon. Maybe each evening, before going to sleep, he applies oil, combs it back neatly, and then only sleeps.
