Airport Is like a gateway to the city either entering or leaving the land.
The idea while designing this airport terminal was to make passenger walking through the walled city of Jaipur, one can
experience that place encompasses various cultures, traditions, colors and smell of the building expressing themselves that they all are part of a strong historical space.
In such close proximity, this design connects to the heritage intensively, still bring the contemporary feel. A grand entrance welcoming the travelers and leaving the airport with the feel of step out of the city gate(boarding gate). Each element comes with their own function and essence.
Creating the proportion and play with spatial elements with scale to not only enhance the function but also provide an identity to the place.
Integrating the public interactive areas (chaupars) with the roads, making it look not just a path, but to create a spatial pause point and place to share experience.
Tried to encourage us by incorporating basic elements to think about architecture not just from a functional point of view but also to create spaces that can conquer time.{ https://app.conceptboard.com/board/4gzn-szkq-ztes-crku-go6s }
