Hexa Bench

The community in a residential complex is inward and interaction takes place within a small group be it homemakers, teenagers, men, senior citizens and sometimes inter-generation. The projects aim to design a furniture which allows people within a gated community to interact and socialize and allows different postures within the Indian context, i.e., the traditional outdoor informal sitting of the veranda. The furniture will reinforce the idea of group interaction and provide a background for small group discussions/gossip (likes and dislikes, sports, day to day affairs, movies, etc).
