The Social Connect

An outdoor seating for residential complexes where people can indulge in leisure activities and enjoy the outdoors. Modules such that it would allow seating for at least two people in a single unit and more when put together in different arrangements (if needed) mostly in early morning or evenings for an hour or two. A design that blends into the urban context of multi-storied buildings, yet attracts attention as a landmark in the complex to which the users will be able to connect for the residents of the complex/ visitors (All ages), In Indian residential complexes along the pedestrian walkways/ pavements/ landscaped areas. Encouraging the of the idea of community living through social interaction, indulging in leisure activities and relaxation in the outdoors (beyond screens). To explore manufacturing processes, materials that doesn’t harm the environment adversely at any stage and use its characteristics and materiality in the design structurally.
