Housing project studio's aim is to exposure to the dynamics of housing and real estate market. The chosen site is located at Vejalpur, Ahmedabad. The objective is to explore and advise the development opportunities for landowners and developers alike through the redevelopment of the land parcel as per the micro-market and demand in the West zone of Ahmedabad. Developing a private land and co-operative housing societies, I have tried to improve the quality of life and rejuvenate the character of the area. The macro market analyses, Land Potential Analysis, understanding the nuances of ground realities and legal aspects of the site, micro-market study, stakeholders' demand, formulation of the project brief, finance, conceptual layout, and marketing strategy and conclusion are the stages of the academic project undertaken. The macro market analysis was done to understand the city better. The micro market analysis, policies, regulations, and stakeholders’ demands were studied to arrive at the product mix which is suitable for both landowner and developer. After considering all these aspects, the project proposal was made following an iterative process adhering to policy, regulations, and financial feasibility of the real estate project.
