Resettlement & Rehabilitation of Untenable Slums, Surat

The rationale of the project was to provide formal housing option with basic services to the slum dwellers living in untenable areas (hazardous sites, ecologically sensitive site or land allotted for public services and amenities) by resettling and rehabilitating them to a nearby location without disturbing their livelihood. The same was achieved by proving accommodation through AHP, ISSR and Sites and Services.
