Our cities are known for various public spaces and the social and cultural gathering it offers. But looking to the neighbourhood level small gathering spots, such as the gardens the temple these are limited to its activity and been near and having connections are not connected in a way to link the activities. In the proposal, the attempt was to respond to the existing activity and usage pattern and to introduce the new to integrate the identified public space and interlink the activities. From the understanding through the Jan Ghel theory, space should be design for the neighbourhood and the people living there. Looking at the present gardens there are fix activities which limit the user groups and activities. So the project is an attempt for re-thinking the public garden to the public space, which is accessible to all with different activities next to each other, where space can be used differently by different user groups. For this various design guideline were focused on bringing the connection between the three public space, and to enhance the public nature of the space within the neighbourhood level along with the existing social and cultural activities.
