Lake Rejuvenation- Pilot Project Memnagar Lake

Stormwater mismanagement leads to waterlogging, flooding and less groundwater recharge. The proposal of rejuvenation of Memnagar Lake as a pilot project is an effort to address all the problems with a single solution. Lake being an urban common is comparatively easier to promote nature-based solution of rainwater harvesting. The proposal focuses on changing the perspective of seeing lake rejuvenation in the city to a more sustainable and ecologically sound system.
