Wastewater Management for Urban Periphery of AMC

The vision of sanitation sector is to provide sustainable sanitation to all. The vision envisages improvement of efficiency and enhancing effectiveness, to serve the unserved and ensure access to safe disposal.  As AMC is currently facing challenges in managing wastewater and about 420MLD of improperly treated wastewater is let in river Sabarmati. This issue of wastewater management will become serious for the peripheral areas which sooner or later are going to become part of AMC . My project Intervention of “wastewater management for peripheral areas of AMC” will serve the purpose of defining a strategy for AMC to manage the wastewater of such peripheral areas which can become part of AMC in future in more effective and sustainable manner
