Mixed Use Commercial Project

The studio is aimed at understanding the 'Integrated Project Delivery' Approach through the use of BIM and Lean Construction Techniques. The project considered for this study is a mixed-use commercial project. The roles of project stakeholders were divided among students and a BIM execution plan was prepared. Preparation of design models on Revit, Clash detection and resolution, Quantity takeoff, Value engineering, creation of 4D and 5D simulations were some of the processes explored for this project. The progress of studio consultants was monitored and tracked using the Last Planner System.
