Moist Teak Deciduous, Evergreen forest Tectona–Dillenia–Lagerstroemia lanceolata–Terminalia paniculata series Aralam wildlife sanctuary The forest is a primeval landscape entity which comprises complex independent systems. These fragile systems and its components are vital for the natural processes within the forests. A very important part of the ecosystem is butterfly habitats. These habitats are found to be fragmented across and in close proximity to the forest as patches of land. The project aim is to identify these intangible connections and fragile habitat fragments in proximity to the forest. The journey follows the albatross butterflies and its habitats and pauses by the rest points it takes by the open forests and the valleys.
