A city square is something which grows and embeds itself into the urban fabric giving the place an identity and an urban artifact which Bopal currently lacks. Thus the intervention tries to make an artifact in the generic city that not only engages one with it but also helps in contending against the banal nature of the built. The square has been  integrated with 3 types of markets : Vegetable, Crafts and Food in the proposal which makes one enjoy and celebrate the act of strolling, buying, cooking and eating which is leisure for the residents of Bopal.
