Seeing the built portion increasing in the cities at present, all the cities are expanding towards becoming typical ‘Concrete Jungles’. Bopal which was originally a satellite town of Ahmedabad and now when it has been engulfed by the city, it has got the same story to convey. The urban sprawl which Bopal has witnessed, if not taken any measures to control, will lead to a scenario where there are no open spaces left, no trees or green spaces remaining, no places to go to for recreation, and no commonplace for the crowd. The region demands a designated green space for the public. These urban parks will witness families from all various backgrounds and share in the sense of community. If thought about the future, when the city has expanded exponentially these reserved green patches would act as a green oasis in a grey city. This urban park will be the location in Bopal to relax the soul and refresh the mind in between a natural surrounding while being isolated from the chaos and commotion of the city life.
