Lighting, Daylighting and Integrated Design Lab

The first half of the studio was focused on understanding lighting simulations and methods of performance evaluations. This was done through an understanding of the different aspects of light, metrics for evaluation, and reasons for evaluation. The second half of the studio looked at a hospital design with an integrated design approach. The aims of the project were to understand the intricacies of working with architectural restrictions, prioritizing strategies based on compliance targets, and acknowledging the implications of using more than one tool for evaluation.
