The studio focused on the very relevant problem of urbanization and high population densities in large cities due to which there would be a need for compact and efficient living spaces in vacant/barren parts of a city. During the course of the semester, compact living modules were conceptualized for migrants entering the city, through  exhaustive empathy mapping for the two user groups and schematic sketches used to visualize the quality of the space. Rhythm has been chosen as the main experiential quality in this conceptualization to provide a sense of anticipation, peace and simplicity for the migrants alongside other qualities.
