The Site: Taranga Hill ,Mehsana, Gujarat .The studio aims at exploring a design, planning and analysis of road infrastructure in hilly region the process which begins with the understanding of existing Taranga road and techniques developed (such as a reading of maps, interpretation of soil and material data) also we have exposure and skill-building through advanced mapping and to create a 3D Model; exposure through advanced design tools such as Open-Road, E-Survey, and Q-GIS software. Studio ends by designing a new proposed alignment which connects Taranga Temple to SH56 and worked with existing principles of designing and planning.

2.RECONAISSANCE SURVEY: Extensively studied the entire area which is used for road design, It is used to proposed an alignment which is more feasible and practically possible like avoiding sharp curves, bridging, rockwork and excessive clearing of land.
3.SURVEY AND DATA EXTRACTION PROCESS: Initial process to start roadway design. We have performed 3 types of survey, through this we get to know about which survey is feasible and more accurate.
4.MATERIAL TESTING AND PAVEMENT DESIGN: For any construction it is necessary to test the quality of construction material (Soil and Bitumen),CBR test value of soil governs the pavement thickness.
5.GEOMETRIC ELEMENTS: Design of Horizontal and Vertical Curve.
6.DRAINAGE DESIGN: Design of Side and Cross Drainage
