Planning and Designing of Road Infrastructure in Hilly R

The main objective of this studio is to enable us to design and plan a road in hilly region, also learn how to apply existing principles and provisions for road planning and design, perform advanced mapping for planning and designing requirements, perform testing of soil and materials, Pavement Design. The studio can be described in 3 steps, the first step was to understand the principles and challenges while designing a hilly road, second step is surveying and studying the existing route on Taranga hill, third step is proposing alternate route on Taranga hill.
