AHMEDABAD METRO RAIL PROJECT- EAST WEST CORRIDOR

As a part of our academic curriculum for the studio course PROJECT, I was required to make a report on Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project – East West corridor (Reach 02). The basic objective is to gain overall knowledge about all the stages of a project lifecycle- right from conception phase to conceiving phase. This report covers the details like project feasibility, demand analysis, tendering process, social and environmental impact, construction method, feasibility studies, approvals required and the procedure for obtaining them, study of alternatives for systems, MIS, closeout procedure, cost estimates, cash-flows, quality assurance, labour safety, material management and detailed study of contract documents
