The project involves the six-laning of 555km highway from Kishangarh near Jaipur in Rajasthan to Ahmedabad in Gujarat via Udaipur. It is divided in to seven packages, Three packages will be will be develop under Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Transfer (DBFOT) basis, three under Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis and one under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM). The project includes the construction of roads, walkways, pedestrian ways and other related infrastructure, the installation of signals and safety system.
