Project Planning & Controlling for Industrial Projects

Emballage packaging is a corrugated box manufacturing industry producing 1 Lakh boxes per day. the industry is located at Kadi GIDC, Ahmedabad. The project planning was done sequentially from learning about the role of the stakeholders and their importance in the project to taking out a feasibility study by contacting the major stakeholder working in similar industry. Learning of Internal Rate of Return(IRR), payback period, and other major methods in evaluating the economy of the project by inputting factual data to interpret the feasibility of the project. Project controlling was done by inputting the outputs of Project planning in MS Project to study the impacts of constraints by inputting hypothetical data in the report to survey the impact on the project due to the rescheduling of the activities. The learning outcome of this exercise was understanding the phases of the project life cycle during the planning phase and execution phase.
