Swivel Stool

Re-Design Process mainly focuses on translating an existing structure's principle into a furniture. To understand the process and basic principles of structure, various exercises were given. Nature habitat study and optimizing the material of an in-use furniture helped understand the material property and structure which further led to the main exercise.Studying Renzo Piano's Paul Klee Center under various parameters and converting a fixed large scale structure into a movable small scale structure was a great learning opportunity. The design is derived from it's structural principle and techniques.
