The project aims at revaluing the historic Kharicut canal that has lost its significance. Vision is to create a network that not only acts as a resource but also a multi functional space for people. The primary objective is to clean the water by channelizing the sewage water for treatment & allow the flow of clean water from upstream & Creating a network that opens up opportunities for people that helps develop a system to generate economy and simultaneously these spaces would become the nodes for human interaction with canal that would in all recreate the value of the Canal.Link_to_Portfolio-https://drive.google.com/open?id=1CxmJnoVvLEyY1xgfZyDO7VsI7iJzWBQg

Water treatment process Stage 1, where 16000cum of sewage water comes from the households each day and goes into the primary sedimentation tank of capacity 1600 cum, where the anaerobic baffled reactors or baffled septic tanks function as multi-chamber septic tanks. They increase biological degradation by forcing the wastewater through active sludge beneath chamber-separating baffles. Stage 2 After primary treatment the water goes into the secondary treatment, here the water is released int
Master Plan: The master plan demonstrates distribution and positioning of the economy and recreation generation programs as part of water treatment process thereby creating an Economical- Recreational- Energy network that re-associates and develop a sense of ownership in people for the Canal.
Program Prototypes: Develop User oriented programs that invite people to the Canal for recreation but also to create Economical and Energy generation network that helps recreate its ‘Value’.
