A Place for Everyone

The area I am studying within the Rajkot city has been evolving from having tight residential areas to high rise apartments and commercial buildings. The area had many empty plots, which people utilized for informal activities. As newer development schemes came in, the area was transformed into more built-up spaces which resulted in the problems of water clogging, decrease in informal activities, public space utilization and lack of play.Thus, developing a design which resolves above-mentioned issues at the neighbourhood scale as well as at house scale.
