The building was constructed in 1846. It is within the old city and hence is surrounded by many old and heritage sites. Making a Heritage Grand Hotel at this location will not only allow them to go and visit those places nearby but also would give them the experience to live in a hotel with a heritage value. It will also involve activities like traditional performances and local craft workshops.
