This ancient wooden palace in Kerala has various structures forming a maze. The presence of a modern exhibiting structure in this traditional palace uplifts people through moving spiral staircase and let them experience the environment from high above. The transparency of the structure from all four sides adds another layer to the experience and provides a wider view of the outside. This frame structure appears lighter w.r.t other mass structures enclosed with wooden walls. Kinetic motion of spiral staircase is inspired from the spinner dolphin and breaks the notion of narrow staircases in the existing traditional structures.
