The Padmanabhapuram palace situated near the town of Thuckalay in Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu. It is located at the foot of Western Ghats where the river flows nearby. Over 400 years old, it is considered to be the largest wooden palace in all of Asia. Now the palace is served as museum where people visit and go. My design intent is to create a space where people can rest and wait for their turn to visit the palace and also the pavilion has kinetic shading element.
