The project started with the basic understanding of masonry by understanding the material and brick bonding along with different forms of design, which followed by case study. Two individual spaces were merged together using unit & module system in the design comprising of main library with exhibition space, admin area and reading spaces on mezzanine floor. Various structural elements and details such as Arches, Vaults, Domes, Squinches, Buttresses, gutters, gargoyles and oculus were covered in the project.
